HDL renovated my kitchen and bathroom and did a wonderful job. I felt very supported and well informed. Simon and his team were all great to work with, communicating well throughout and providing great attention to detail. Having access to his builder's discount at several suppliers for the bathroom tiles and fittings made for good value. The jobs were done concurrently, well managed and timely. We just received the handover of our renovated bathroom and separate toilet yesterday and have no hesitation in recommending Simon and HDL. From the outset on obtaining a quote, accepting that quote/signing agreements, and the delivery of work, Simon was incredibly professional, responsive, and detail-oriented. Nothing is left to chance and Simon and his admin support are extremely fastidious around quotes, scope, builders insurance, check-lists, tips/guides etc. We found this a bit overwhelming initially but it soon became very apparent that it was all in line with protecting us as customers and helping HDL deliver a quality outcome. Simon personally ensured the project was kept on track and managed quality control effectively. Daily work-in-progress calls informed us about what work had been done during the day and what to expect the next day. The HDL tradies were personable, effective, and took appropriate measures to protect the house and minimise dirt and disruption. The renovation delivered by HDL met and exceeded our expectations and we hope to engage Simon again to take care of another bathroom and laundry in desperate need of an update. Simon and his team at HDL completed a bathroom install for us 3 months ago and still loving it. The process from quote to handover was smooth with daily updates along the way from Simon to let us know what was completed and what was going to take place the next day. His team made sure to clean the area each day to ensure dust was minimal throughout the rest of the house. Great end result and wouldn't hesitate to use again for our second bathroom in the near future.
