  Just got keys of the new house today. I supposed to be extremely busy at this stage in moving, shopping, packaging, etc., which is exactly the case here. But I’d still spend some time on sharing my experience along the new house building journey with my builder - Morris Homes, as I truly think their service is well deserved for it! Hopefully my experience can also help someone who is currently looking for trustable builder for their dream house. I actually have a lot to share, through the entire building process. Starting from tender (sales) stage, I was served by Brad - the Director/owner of the business, which is not at all possible with any big volume builder. Brad is very friendly, professional, and supportive with strong can-do attitude. Their price is very reasonable/affordable which gives the light for people in the tunnel (with tight budget in the current market) to make the dream house happen - just like me! At this stage that my house has just been built, I'm in right position to say that it’s actually GREAT value - considering what I got vs. what I paid. And the highlight here is: Brad shared great transparency with me –on what's their cost of all the items and their margin on top of it. If we can understand - only the builder, who can manage their finance healthy, can deliver good project for us, Morris Homes should be considered as a very reliable builder on this aspect. In the meantime, Brad/Morris Homes provided excellent flexibilities – from floor plan/façade to all the colour and material selections. I pretty much achieved to get everything that I preferred the most. Taking my big shower screen as example, that’s almost impossible that any volume builder would consider helping (bringing extra work/trouble to them). Not too much comment on project manager, colour selection, and account (Sorry Mobeen and Maree!), as I don’t have a lot to work with them in my case. The only feedback for them is they are very responsive – they are always there/reachable whenever you have any question for them. (They also send all variations and invoices very quickly as well 😊) Then goes to the last but my most favourable part, which is the site manager JAMIE! He is just a legend! His attention to details seconds to no one! He found defections way more than I could. Though I’m not sure how the tradies thought about him, I feel so lucky to have him as the site manager of my new house managing every single detail. The house won’t be that perfect without Jamie for sure! His focus/priority is quality (rather than speed). So from my own POV, Morris Homes suits people building their own dream house more than investors (maybe just rush to get job done in the cheapest way). There are really a lot more good things to talk about Jamie – polite, responsive, knowledgeable, supportive, proactive……. If you are as lucky as me to get Jamie as your site manager, you will just have peace of mind - can sit back and relax to wait for your dream house to appear and I believe you will 100% have the same feeling about Jamie as me! Though extremely happy with the building process with Morris Homes, doesn’t mean there was no flaw, to be objective. The schedule was slightly delayed. But I managed to manage my own expectation well, as I can understand lots of factors were not fully in their control. From my end, slight delay is very well acceptable (don't just think about rent or loan, as some buffer should be planned for building a new house from scratch). I feel it unreasonable if to judge the delay, when everyone there was trying the best to make my new house dream come true. This is the feedback to Morris Homes, but more the reference for those who are headache about the choice of builder - as what I did a year ago. So many builders were bankrupted or broke fix price contracts these days, worries are very understandable. If anyone is keen to hear some suggestions from those who recently built houses, I'd be very comfortable and confident to say "Morris Homes is the reliable builder you should go"!

  Best Experience ever and they Delivered our Dream Home!! We have built 4 homes and this was a standout. We got to deal directly with the actual builder Brad with a hands on approach and his staff were outstanding. Josh and James were super professional and they always answered the phone. Our house has surpassed all our expectations and they worked with our budget and timeline. I would highly recommend this amazing team and would be happy to share photos of how amazing there finishes were and what the final product looks like. This home is our happy place for our family of 4. Thankyou Morris Homes!!

  After being let down by other builders, we reached out to Brad to try and get a build happening. He was very transparent throughout the process and we finished what is a large house on time and on budget. Brad is probably the most accommodating builder I have ever met, and nothing was ever too much effort. Being a small builder can lead to response delays, however everything was always addressed. Josh, his building manager, is fantastic. Finish was excellent and has been very responsive to minor issues after occupation.
