Building with Classics in 2023 was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. We actually started the planning and design process just before COVID hit, and despite everything the industry faced at the time — material shortages, shutdowns, delays, and the difficulties around obtaining permits through the ACT Government — they pushed through every challenge and still delivered an exceptional result. At the time, they weren’t the cheapest builder we looked at, but now, three years later, we can confidently say they were absolutely the best value for money by a long way. The quality of workmanship and finish throughout our home has been outstanding. Any minor defects or issues we’ve had over the years were handled quickly, professionally, and without hesitation. Even beyond the warranty period, they’ve continued to be fantastic to deal with, which speaks volumes about the pride they take in both their work and their customers. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, honest, and well-managed, especially considering the incredibly difficult environment the building industry was operating in at the time. Looking back now, we honestly couldn’t be happier with the result. If we were ever building another home, they would be our very first phone call without hesitation. We genuinely couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Their processes were well-structured, and they provided thoughtful recommendations that really enhanced the outcome. Jason and Mick Thank you so much for helping us out fixing damage to our roof caused by a hailstorm. It is 20 years since you built our house and we love it as much now as we did then. For you to come out to inspect the damage after all this time and then arrange for a tradesman to attend and carry out repairs is testament to the qualities that your Company has. We have never had an issue with the build in all this time and its quality is as good now as it was then. Peter and Gayle McEwan

A huge thank you to Mick, Jason, Rod and the team at Classic Constructions for our amazing new home. I've been watching this company for many years, and it was obvious when the chance came for us to build a new home, that we would choose Classic Constructions. Mick's knowledge and attention to detail backed with the support of Jason and Rod, gave us a streamlined build process and a wonderful home to come home too. Their subbies and suppliers were amazing, and you could feel the respect they had for Classic and the Tanchevski family. It was great to deal with this Canberra business and I would highly recommend them.

Classic constructions are a fantastic building company to deal with. We had been following the company for well over 10 years before having the perfect opportunity to work with them during 2020-2021. Every person we dealt with from the office to their preferred suppliers were amazing. We were kept informed, consulted and they acted promptly on all our decisions and wishes - no matter how difficult it was. They provided us with all the information necessary at each stage of our build. We were impacted slightly with the pandemic and supply issues and they dealt with those issues promptly and updated us when they could. Our site supervisor was amazing and had great attention to detail with every aspect and issue on site. Every time we drove by to have a peek and inspection the site was kept immaculate. The team worked hard to hand over in time to celebrate Christmas which we greatly appreciate. To date we have had no major issues with the construction of our home, and all minor issues were attended to, even after handover. We would highly recommend Classics to any prospective client and more than happy to provide references.

Classic Construction is the no.1 builder in Canberra. Our house built by them got MBA award. Everybody says WOW when they enter our house. Its a top quality home, value for money and completed one day before the completion date in the contract. Very transparent with variations as they wouldn't do any variation without written quote and my signature on it, so no dispute. Classic Construction is a five star builder.
