This was our first time building, so we researched a lot, met many, spoke to few of his existing clients and then selected Abode Constructions. And we truly relish our decision. Scott is so understanding, proper planner, well informed, quite professional, very flexible, properly managed, well documented, equally competitive and a polite builder. He literally went above and beyond our expectations. Quality of work is beyond appreciation. Not just we appreciate his work, but also any visitor, be it our friends, family, other tradesmen, landscapers, handymen, contractors that we had for other job/visits. He did a quality job with our first house. Absolutely flat floor, even with floating timber work, straight walls, perfect 90° cornices. These are just few of many such things. Highly recommended and we definitely will again choose him for our next project.

We engaged Scott Simpson to knock-down and rebuild our new home in early 2021 and couldn’t be happier with our experience. We met with several builders but selected Scott based on his experience, knowledge, and ability to listen and understand our needs. We were also impressed with the quality of workmanship that we saw in his display home. Using our own plans, Scott built a beautiful split-level home for us. He has a great eye for detail and high standards which meant he selected good quality suppliers and experienced tradespeople and managed them appropriately throughout the project. When we met with suppliers to select products they also spoke highly of Scott, and having worked with him on this build, we can see why he is so well respected. He kept us informed of progress and changes, responded quickly to emails and phone calls, and worked collaboratively with us to resolve issues. Scott was always calm and professional and had great advice. Having now lived in the house for more than a year, we continue to be very happy with the result and receive so many compliments from friends and family that visit our home, including those that work in the building industry. We would recommend Scott without hesitation to anyone looking to build a new home.

We are delighted to have selected Abode Constructions to build our custom home. We wanted to build a unique custom home that was going to be here for the longevity of our family. We wanted a modern look, with a resort style feel where we can sit down and entertain while watching our family play out in the pool and around the back yard all from the kitchen and open plan living area. The flow of the home from the front door through to the backyard pool and landscaped yard with an alfresco is just what we envisioned. We are extremely pleased with the finished product and the seamless building process through construction with Scott and his team. Scott renovated our house at the south coast and we absolutely love the result! Abode were professional, responsive and managed the project in a timely manner. Scott is very particular about making sure everything is perfect, and when some of the joinery didn't fit perfectly he insisted that the joiners remake the piece to ensure it looked and fit perfectly. He has an eye for detail and made sure that every little thing was done exactly the way we wanted. It is difficult to find people in the building industry that are reliable and honest, so it was an absolute pleasure working with Scott and Abode.
