The other reviews here are all spot on. Michael and the team and AHT Company were amazing to deal with and the quality of their work is first class. Michael took the time to come to site more than once to provide advice and talk through options and was incredibly patient as we changed our mind more than a few times. He then turned up when he said he would, did the job in the time he said he would take, and the result was above our expectations. There were a few small challenges with the job (inconsistent previous path width, a gate that needed to be cut down, old stairs that were not in the best state etc) and I can confidently say Michael went above and beyond to solve these, never cutting a corner. Old school tradesman who takes pride in his work. If you are thinking about getting tessellated tiles, do yourself a favour and at least give Michael a call.

Unsolicited review. In short awesome tilers who know what they’re doing do what they say and the quality of the work speaks for itself. Originally asked for them to quote waterproof / install of tessellated tiles but turns out they could do the whole job and their quote was very reasonable for the work. Michael was very detailed and up front in how they’d do it / quality of the finish, Bruno and crew did an amazing job on the install and Michael also offered great advice on getting it sealed. Very happy with the outcome, would recommend.

If you don’t get a quote from Authentic Heritage Tiling Co, you’re honestly doing yourself an injustice. I had three different tessellated tile companies quote my verandah and pathway, and Michael won me over on the spot. He was professional, super knowledgeable, and you can tell he’s genuinely passionate about heritage tiling. The whole process was smooth from start to finish, and the result is absolutely perfect. Do yourself a favour and don’t waste your time with anyone else, these guys are the real deal!

This company is phenomenal. From the moment I contacted Authentic Heritage Tiling Co, I knew I was in good hands. Michael responded quickly, explained all the options, and made sure I understood every step & answered any queries I had. The installation team was punctual, tidy, and incredibly skilled, the workmanship at the end had said it all. Their attention to the smallest detail is also what set them apart from the other quotes I had received. I highly recommend & will definitely be using them again in the future if the need arises.

Michael and his team were lovely to deal with when replacing the heritage tiles on my Surry Hills terrace. Michael carefully scoped the work with me, working through design options patiently, and provided a clear and comprehensive quotation. Michael and his team planned the work properly and were terrific about rescheduling to work around Sydney’s never ending rain to complete the job as quickly as possible. I hope I can contract Michael and the team on my next home! Great job, great communication, helpful, calm and on time!
