  Highly recommend Steve from SMC and wouldn't hesitate to use again. He recently installed a solar system ( as part of a major reno). and took into consideration our requests re array placement to minimize visibility of panels from street. Communication was great and he fitted in with other works as required during construction. Installation works were very neat ( more so than most general electrical works these days) - nice conduiting etc His good work is in high demand so schedule accordingly.. Thanks Steve, keep up the good work.

  I received many visits from various solar installation companies prior to selecting Steve to install a Fronius 8KW GEN24/REC Alpha system. It was refreshing to speak with a licensed electrician who quoted and installed the product. Steve’s product knowledge resulted in our installation generating greater output power over more of the day. This recommendation combined with his realistic quote and other positive feedback helped in our selection of Steve's quote. Steve’s installation work is very professional - his work ethic is a planned measured approach to ensure no short cuts are taken and a quality long term installation is provided to his customers. Steve spent considerable time custom rebating each roof tile associated with the many mounting brackets which anchored the system to the roof, thereby ensuring best fit and weather proofing. A Western Power inspector carrying out a post installation inspection of the AC grid supply to my home, remarked on the quality of the inverter installation. I highly recommend SMC Electrical Services.

  Steve installed a 15.4kW system for me and I could not be happier with the process and result. Of course Steve was an expert technically, but I was especially impressed with the installation quality and care. I had just installed a brand new tiled roof with quite fragile and tricky tiles to remove, and so expected quite a bit of tile damage and repair (some is unavoidable). Well, there was hardly any, almost none, in fact my tiler, who inspected my roof after, said it was the "best solar install job he has seen" and asked me to let Steve know and thank him! No hesitation to recommend Steve and SMC to my friends and family and considering adding a battery now :)
