I had an excellent experience with Raf Power. Before deciding, I obtained over 25 quotes from different companies, and Raf Power’s quote was very competitive and right on the market rate for a high-quality system. What stood out most was Rafeek’s professional and genuine approach — he was never pushy during the sales process, which made the experience comfortable and stress-free. He took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all my questions patiently. The installation process went smoothly, and the system has been performing exactly as promised. I truly appreciate the honesty, transparency, and professionalism shown throughout. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable, fair-priced, and professional service!

I contacted several installers before choosing RAF Power, and I'm glad I did. Rafeeq was incredibly helpful from the start-providing detailed advice and answering all my questions thoroughly. He even recommended joining a local Perth solar group on Facebook, which helped me understand that the cheapest quote isn't always the best. Rafeeq's pricing was competitive, and he took great care to ensure the entire process was smooth. My installation included a full upgrade: 10kW solar system, 8kW inverter, and a 22kWh battery. I made a last-minute change to the inverter size, and Rafeeq guided me through it with no hassle. If you're considering solar, I highly recommend RAF Power for their professionalism, transparency, and customer-first approach.

Our inverter was not working and we were highly recommended Raf Power by a family member. Rafeek was super friendly and knowledgeable. He came out to diagnose the issue instantly and got a new inverter installed under warranty. He was very patient with us through the whole setup procedure of syncing it to our phones. I cannot recommend Raf Power enough. Definitely give them a call for all your solar needs.

Frequently asked questions

How much do solar installers typically charge?

Solar costs vary widely depending on system size, equipment choices, roof access and whether additional electrical upgrades or battery work are required. Simple panel adds or routine maintenance are typically much less involved than full system installs or battery integrations. This page shows live pricing to help compare current rates alongside the specific scope of your job.

Do solar installers charge call-out fees?

Yes — call-out fees are common for solar installers and are often charged to cover attendance and an initial assessment. Call-outs are usually separate from hourly labour and materials, and after-hours or emergency visits typically attract higher rates. Confirm whether a call-out fee is included or listed separately when comparing quotes.

Do solar installers need a licence in Australia?

Yes. Solar installation work is required to be carried out by a licensed installer in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW installers are licensed through NSW Fair Trading. Many installers also hold industry credentials such as Clean Energy Council accreditation and may display a valid state electrical contractor licence on quotes, as well as public liability insurance. These credentials can help indicate the installer has relevant training and compliance practices.
