Wade from Sherwood Solar and his crew did an excellent job installing a new solar PV + battery system (Fronius/BYD) for us. We have an old home so got a full mains feed upgrade and complete switchboard upgrade too. Now we can use our own solar power + battery to try and avoid the energy price rises in our fully electric home. I recently had Sherwood Solar install a solar system to my home. I had undertaken extensive research and learn't relatively quickly that there were numerous solar providers offering 'cheap deals' however these were far inferior products and generally involved poor workmanship. My research also reinforced the old saying, "if it seems too good to be true, then it generally is." From the very outset it was obvious to me that Sherwood Solar were a very professional outfit. This extended from the initial product disclosure and advice from Wade Sherwood as to what would best suit my needs right through to after the installation with after sales service. Their professionalism and workmanship was outstanding. I expect that most people like myself find this exercise quite daunting trying to absorb all the different variables there are to consider with solar systems, however Wade broke this down in simple terms and made the exercise easy. It was also refreshing that at no stage was their an attempt to 'up sell' to something I didn't require and the system I was sold was very specific to my particular needs. I highly recommend Sherwood Solar to anyone in the market for a solar system particularly with the soaring electricity prices.
