After initial research, I had a short-list of six potential suppliers. RenewCo Solar was only one of two of the six suppliers to send someone around to undertake an in-person assessment. This was Mitch. Mitch highlighted several issues that would likely affect the installation process. This included the suitability of locations for the battery and inverter, and the need for a long cable run. He spent some time discussing the options open to us and the likely general configuration of a suitable solar installation based on our current and future requirements – we plan to install an electric cooking hob and an EV charger. He also discussed with us the relative merits of panel, inverter and battery options. Mitch was friendly, thorough and professional throughout our initial discussions. Subsequently, he has responded to queries and followed up with e-mails and call to check on our thinking and progress. RenewCo Solar was not the cheapest installer. It was their commitment to deliver a quality installation and service, using quality products, combined with the support we received from Mitch, that convinced us that they were the installer of choice. Prior to installation, we received a comprehensive plain language installation guide. This provided a good overview of the installation process, including what we needed to do, what RenewCo Solar would do. The RenewCo Solar installation team arrived at the agreed time. Upon arrival, the lead installer (electrician) introduced himself and the crew. He then did a quick walkthrough of the plan for the day. He also confirmed the battery and/or inverter location. Prior to installation, the installation team implemented safety measures before stepping onto our roof to keep themselves and us safe. The installation process itself took from 8:00am to 6:00pm with the installation team completing all the work needed to install, test and commission the system successfully. The installation team were tidy throughout the day and did a through clean-up when they had finished. We were then given a walkthrough to ensure that we understood how the system worked and how it operates. One of the interesting parts at the handover was getting to see the system’s real-time power production on the app. The RenewCo Solar team has dealt with all the associated approvals, electrical compliance and rebate issues for us. Mitch also called after the installation to doble check everything associated with the installation went as planned. A thoroughly professional end-to end service. We recommend RenewCo Solar as an installer of choice.

We had an excellent experience with RenewCo Solar. Todd handled the quoting process well, providing helpful advice and good follow-up. The installation team headed by Cory did a fabulous job, doing everything I requested, with everything neatly installed, no mess and no roof tile breakages. The system, including a Sigenergy battery and Canadian Solar panels is performing superbly. While we had to wait a few months for our installation - understandable given the demand right now - it was definitely worth it. Thanks guys.

Competitive quote and consultant completed a thorough analysis of our power bill and recommended a battery size that was the most suitable for our needs. Great communication from consultant with timely updates about installation. Installation took around 6 hours but the team did an excellent job of ensuring everything was neatly installed. There was a slight issue with our existing solarEdge inverter switching on but not exporting the solar. Logged a job on the RenewCo app and was contacted quite quickly. Sent a few photos and a technician was in contact and the issue was sorted quickly. Thank you RenewCo
