Outback Solar

Been looking to get solar system and battery, it is so overwhelming with so many companies out there. End up going with Outback Solar, they just installed a 13.7kw system, Foxess 15Kw inverter and 42kw battery in January 2026. I also had an existing 3kW and they connected it and it's working fine. Installation team (Matti & Mosiv) was really good, all compliant. Adam and John as great at communicating, we were able to sort things out. Overall very happy with my solar system. Fingers crossed no issues and if they is, their warranty will cover us. For those currently researching into which company to go with, look into them.

I recently engaged Outback Solar to replace my solar panels with a new 13kw system on the roof and added a 24kw Sigenergy battery. John, from outback solar was very helpful and patient over a few days on the phone with me. He scheduled the work in well before the new rebate reduction in May. Outback Solar installers, Spider solar electrical, headed by Brandon were great. A team of 3 that were very knowledgeable, experienced, considerate, polite and clean. They completed the job in 2 days, working in 39 degree heat. The system works great. The app has all the features you'll ever want to see. When the sun is shining it seems to have no problems charging my 24kw battery ready to use overnight. If you're reading this, don't skimp on battery size as you'll need the stored power, especially if you're running air conditioning once the sun goes down. You pay a little more than other companies by the looks of it but you get what you pay for. I liked the fact that they were local and easy to contact if any issues arise. I had my old solar system removed and upgraded with 20 kW of panels and a 48 kWh battery. Adam was fantastic to deal with from start to finish — very responsive, transparent, and always provided helpful feedback. On installation day, Jay did an incredible job. Everything looks tidy and professional, and most importantly, our daily electricity bill has gone from about $20/day to a daily credit. I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend Outback Solar.

It was a pleasure working with Adam on the solar upgrade + Sigenergy battery install. Adam patiently explained all the options available to me (in terms of AC/DC coupling) and was flexible enough to accommodate a last minute request to upgrade the size of the hybrid inverter.
