We recently had our bathrooms (main, ensuite and powder room) renovated by Soma Building Group. George made the whole process streamline and easy with his professional approach, straight forward and friendly communication at all stages. The quality of workmanship was exceptional and the attention to detail made the bathrooms high quality. George provided us with great advice from the selection of bathroom fittings to the design. George listened to our needs, no question was left unanswered and we were consulted at each stage of the renovation resulting in beautifully completed bathrooms. We really appreciate the reliability of George and his team, every tradesman was punctual, polite, skilled and professional. We hired Soma Building Group to render some exposed brick, install skylights, and replace a window, ceilings and cornicing. As well as add a bulkhead with extractor fan and directly duct a dryer. George and his team were wonderful. Any problems that arose, as they always do with old houses, were resolved quickly. They were communicative, careful, well priced and courteous. It looks phenomenal. We’re extremely happy. Only wished we’d hired them 5 years ago for our previous renovation. Definitely recommend. Thanks George and the team for all your hard work. We love it.

We were in desperate need to get our driveway and front landscaping done as we had water damaging our home with lack of drainage. We were recommended to use George from a friend of ours and we couldn’t be more grateful. He had advised us of what needed to be done because our driveway sloped back towards our house. He installed all brand new strip drainage and pits around the house, as well as structural sandstone blocks to retain the front yard. We trusted in George to deliver, and he exceeded all our expectations. We haven’t had an issue with water since these were installed over 4 years ago!! Would definitely recommend!

We reached out to George at Soma Building Group after hearing about the great work he did for a friend and we too are really pleased with the work he completed for us. George arranged everything that was needed to convert half of our long tandem garage into a large bedroom and integrate it into our home. We presented him with our vision and he brought it to life so easily and to perfection in barely a week! This would of taken us so much longer and required more funds had we organised individual tradies and jobs ourselves. The work George arranged included dismantling the old garage, building a new elevated structural floor level with the rest of our home, building new wall frames, installing plasterboard sheeting - new walls, new door and cornice work, electrical work, painting and new carpet and we were able to customise colours and features. He also repaired some ceiling damage we had and everything is flawless. We couldn’t be happier, what was once our old dusty garage is now the best room in the house! George and Soma Building Group are highly recommended and we will be using them again soon for work on another property. A+++
