I called at 5pm. Jake came out next day, arrived on time without a call-out fee and diagnosed the sewer problem quickly. He arranged same day fix and juggled other appointments to fit us in because of the priority. He was friendly, respectful and patient when asked about long term options, including honest about what he couldn't do. I dont know if he was cheap or expensive, but I was happy to pay his quote given it was Christmas Eve with a house full of guests. Would use again.

We had an excellent experience with Priority Pace Plumbing and its owner, Jake. He handled the full plumbing work for two detailed bathrooms, a laundry, and a relocated kitchen, as well as stormwater and drain remediation to resolve stagnant water issues in Kotara. Jake was always on time, turning up exactly when he said he would—a rare and valuable trait in the industry. His attention to detail was outstanding, especially given the complexity of fitting multiple fixtures in our bathrooms while ensuring all PIC items were positioned perfectly. The stormwater and drainage work was equally impressive, effectively fixing longstanding issues with water stagnation. His expertise, reliability, and quality workmanship make him a standout in the trade. I highly recommend Priority Pace Plumbing for any plumbing job, big or small!

Frequently asked questions

How much do plumbers typically charge?
Plumbing costs vary significantly depending on the type of job and its complexity. Simple fixture repairs are generally much less than jobs involving pipe replacement, excavation or gas appliance work. Most quotes include a call-out fee, hourly labour and parts, with after-hours or emergency attendance usually attracting higher rates. This page shows live pricing for jobs in your area.
Do plumbers charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and are often used to cover travel and the initial assessment. Plumbers typically add hourly labour and any materials or replacement parts to the call-out fee. After-hours, weekend or emergency attendances are usually charged at higher rates and some small jobs may have a minimum charge.
Do plumbers need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Plumbing work must be carried out by a licensed plumber in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW the regulator is NSW Fair Trading (Building Commission NSW). Plumbers will generally provide their licence number and should be able to supply compliance certificates for regulated work. Look for an ABN, public liability insurance and relevant industry memberships as additional trust signals.
Is Priority Pace Plumbing licensed?
Yes. Priority Pace Plumbing currently shows an active trade licence on SureQuote.
Does Priority Pace Plumbing have a verified ABN?
