Shane from Lucid Plumbing and Roofing was the first to contact me after I lodged a request on Hi Pages. He promptly arranged a day and time to assess the job and arrived exactly as scheduled. Upon inspection, Shane clearly explained what needed to be done and provided a very reasonable quote. I was pleasantly surprised by the price and accepted immediately. He was able to complete the work on the spot. The job was finished to a high standard, and Shane thoroughly cleaned the entire area afterwards. He came at the time advised, provided reasonable pricing to replace the perished fibreglass roofing, and provided suggestions to improve the finished job. On acceptance he communicated regularly so I knew then material would be delivered and when he would do the job. I was especially impressed with his attitude and attention to detail, where he went above and beyond to ensure the job was completed properly, and cleaned up after. We recently used Shane for roof plumbing work in Canberra to replace flashings on our concrete tile roof and couldn’t be happier. His pricing was very fair, he was quick to respond from the first enquiry, and he explained everything clearly so we understood exactly what was being done. Shane was friendly, easy to deal with, and completed the job quickly with minimal disruption. He also provided before, during and after photos, which gave us great peace of mind. Shane was excellent. He came out to take a look at my roof after a storm had sent water into my house overnight. He took the time to explain what had happened, drew me a few diagrams, and quoted to fix the immediate problem (the original flashing had been poorly installed and my roof tiles had slipped down to let water in). He let me know when he was on the way, once he’d arrived to start work, and once he’d completed the work. Shane also pointed out a few other things on my roof that could do with some attention in the coming year or so, but wasn’t pushy and left it with me to consider. Would definitely call on Shane again for any future plumbing or roofing needs.

Shane was phenomenal. Came out straight away to assess our issue with our roof. Gave clear and concise explanation of what was wrong and how to fix it and other issues that were spotted and gave different options to consider. Very reasonably priced.
