Just got a termite inspection done and Paul told us about some borers in the floor boards. Whilst he informed me it was not part of a termite inspection he still felt the need to inform us. Our pre purchase report we had done 5 years ago and 2 other inspections failed to mention this. Great job Paul and thankyou for all the advice

It has been a few weeks since Paul was out and I am happy to say our pest problem has gone. He did explain that the work he carried out is a process and takes time, the fact he explained this from the start was excellent so we knew what to expect. I would definitely use Bugs Or Us Pest Control again

I would like to thank Paul for his termite inspection he did for me in Wollongong. His termite detection dog was great to see and he showed me how he works at the end by setting a trap for him. The report was also very professional with photos. I could not recommend this business highly enough and have requested him to do my parents house.

Frequently asked questions

How much do pest controllers typically charge?

Costs vary widely depending on the pest type, how extensive the infestation is, property access and whether follow-up visits are needed. Most pest controllers charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate, with materials and repeat treatments adding to the total. The prices shown on this page update live to help you compare current rates.

Do pest controllers charge call-out fees?

Many pest controllers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess your property, which is usually separate from labour and materials. After-hours, weekend or emergency attendance often attracts higher rates. It's worth confirming any call-out or minimum fees when requesting quotes.

Do pest controllers need a licence in Australia?

Yes. Pest control work generally must be carried out by a licensed pest controller in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW licensing is administered by the NSW Environment Protection Authority (NSW). Providers should display a valid state pest management licence and often hold industry credentials such as AEPMA membership or PestCert accreditation, public liability insurance and an ABN with GST registration. Many also provide a written service report and chemical usage log after treatment.
