Gary and the gang from Tip Top painting really outdid themselves. We booked them to do downstairs after reading their reviews and on the day they arrived, we had bought our retirement apartment and need to sell our home ASAP. Gary shuffled things around to fit our job in before our homes photoshoot in readiness to go on the market next week. Gary completed a little extra to help us finish off which we appreciate immensely. The workmanship is top notch and the gang were friendly and polite. We booked our job a full 8 months in advance, and despite the long lead time, Gary remained punctual, organised and true to his word turning up exactly when scheduled. Throughout the process, communication was outstanding. Gary was always prompt to respond, clear in his explanations and incredibly flexible, especially when our spaces became overcrowded and timelines shifted due to other trades running behind. Gary did a fantastic job painting the backyard fences and the exterior of my garage and first floor. His prices were reasonable and his workmanship was awesome. He is was prompt to reply and did everything he said he would. I would definitely recommend and use again.

I cannot speak highly enough of Gary and his team @Tip Top Painting 🎨 We had received a small handful of quotes, and originally we hired another painter who was able to come out quickly and start immediately so we just jumped on it. In hindsight, that could have been the first red flag that he had no other works on. After just two days and two poorly finished rooms, we realised we weren’t happy with the quality and made the hard decision to let him go. With a whole house still to be painted (5 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 2 lounges, kitchen, WIP, WIR, and laundry in total), we were left feeling stressed and unsure of what to do next. Enter Gary and his team! Gary came out that same afternoon to quote and from the moment I met him, I felt confident we were in good hands. His professionalism, clear communication and respectful approach stood out straight away. Unlike others, he didn’t bag out the previous painter, instead it was more “Let’s get this fixed and perfect for you,” which showed real class. Even though the house is older and needed a lot of prep due to a very poor DIY job previously done, Gary made the whole job feel completely manageable. He and his team were on time every day, kept us in the loop, treated our home with care (covering all belongings properly), was extremely respectful and did incredible prep and finish work. The difference was like night and day. He even fixed the other painter’s errors so seamlessly you’d never know they were there. Our 40 year old home now looks completely refreshed. The finish is smooth, clean and professional. Add in his competitive pricing and there’s honestly no reason to go anywhere else. We’ll absolutely be calling Gary again when we’re ready to paint the exterior. Top notch service and top quality work. HIGHLY recommended! 🙏🏼

Gary was recommended to me, and I have now recommended him and his team to two more people. Gary is fantastic to deal with, very professional and helpful. His team are also lovely, very friendly and very hard working. They were also respectful of me working from home while they worked and having had recent surgery, they lifted things that needed to be moved. The work the team did was to a great standard and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. They really did do a Tip Top job!
