Andrew is a very amazing and efficient key man. My second time looking for him. My car key snapped in the car because of my doggy car ignition (I always have to push hard and bit far away to start the car, that’s the main reason to snap the key for a long term use). I was really anxious and he said he will head away for Xmas the following early morning, but still promised to figure out in this afternoon. He promptly arrived my place and fix it and make a new one. My car was low in battery and then he put the jumpers on to restart my car. I really appreciate it. Andrew can provide the best customer service and after-sales service. He deserved to be known by everyone. Thank you so much for the time and Merry Christmas.

Andrew communicates very well and provides a quote so you know exactly how much you’re paying. He cut me a new key with remote in around 10 minutes. I also feel my new key is better than the original as the casing is a lot more durable. I will definitely be a return customer as the process was easy and simple.

Frequently asked questions

How much do locksmiths typically charge?
Costs vary depending on the job — a simple key cut or rekey is usually much less than emergency entry or full hardware replacement. This page shows live pricing for local providers to help you compare options. Many locksmiths charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate and materials, and after-hours or emergency work generally attracts higher rates.
Do locksmiths charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and typically cover travel and the initial assessment. This fee is usually separate from labour and materials and may apply even for quick or small jobs. It's worth confirming any call-out or minimum charge when getting quotes.
Do locksmiths need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Locksmithing is a licensed occupation across Australia, and in NSW licences are issued by the NSW Police Force — Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate (SLED). You should expect a provider to display a valid state security licence number and to hold industry credentials such as MLAA, LGA or ASIAL membership, a Certificate III in Locksmithing, an ABN with GST registration and appropriate public liability insurance.
