  I highly recommend Michael's shoe repairs in Oxford square, Darlinghurst. I've used them to repair and restore my rare favourite shoes and boots that I can't bring myself to throw out. They resoled and reheeled my Jack London Beatles replica winkel picker Chelsea boots and made the look like new. I also got them to repair a pair of Italian two tone black and whte winkel picker shoes that I bought in Newtown Vinnies for $70 and they made them look like new again with new soles and heels and a thorough clean and polish. They always inspect the shoes, give you a quote and a timeframe and deliver ahead of the promised time. I even went there this morning to get some extra holes punched in a couple of belts because I have lost 9kg recently and they did it on the spot, free of charge!

  So happy with my boots! I was honestly ready to throw them out, but I popped in on a whim to see if they could be saved. They were worn out and the sole had completely come off. The team gave them a full clean and polish, and replaced both soles so they’re extra strong. Couldn’t be happier with the result!!

  Mario and his team are the masters at not only fixing shoes, they made my 20yr old Italian leather sandals look and feel brand new, Mario also repaired my Moroccan marble serving plate that was damaged in transit home. I'd given it up as beyond repair, but Mario fixed it so it looks better than the original!
