Matt and his team were great to deal with. In this day and age, it’s near impossible to pin down a good trade for a quote. Let alone locking in any work. Matt was extremely easy to deal with in both his quoting stage, and once the quote was accepted he gave a clear schedule as to when the work would start and end. I would recommend Black Squid to anyone looking to elevate their exterior spaces!

Matt and the team from Black Squid Landscaping were absolutely fantastic! They were friendly, approachable, and so kind to our kids (who were often underfoot trying to be “helpful”). They completely transformed our waterlogged backyard into a beautiful, functional entertaining and play space that our whole family – and friends – can now enjoy. We were kept well informed throughout the entire process, and Matt was always generous with his time, advice, and ideas. We couldn’t be happier with the result. With the front yard still to go, we’ll definitely be working with Matt and his team again in the future. Highly recommend!

My in laws had Matt and his team out to re-do their backyard and they did a fantastic job. We decided to hire Matt to redo our front yard, get some pavers laid, returf the lawn and put up a fence. Matt and his team worked really quickly to get the job done. There was great communication as well, questions were answered swiftly and I was kept up to date via text. Highly recommend if you need a landscaper around the Central Coast area

Matt and his team were professional, polite and extremely diligent. Matt listened to my thoughts and came up with constructive advice and the final outcome says it all! The landscaping required an experienced and knowledgeable team, as the site came with a few limitations, i.e. being on an open corner of a un-kerbed road, a high wind, salty area and not forgetting, very easy to maintain. The design needed to be simple and sculptural to complement the house - which has always been nicknamed the ‘ArtHouse’… no pressure Matt! lol And Black Squid Landscapes delivered…. On budget and on time, but I must add - I appreciated the regular communication and discussions, not everyone is that approachable.
