Cousins Electrics

This review pertains to the exceptional work completed by Mitch, who is a "Master Electrician" and a valuable asset to Cousins Electrics. He replaced my original, unsuitable internal HPM switchboard with a custom-made IP65 PROLEC enclosure (which I supplied), resulting in a safe and secure isolation board built to endure over time. The initial switchboard, installed by the builder’s electrician, (and that's another story) was entirely inappropriate for the application. It was an IP40-rated board, typically intended for indoor use and gyprock wall mounting, yet had been incorrectly installed onto a brick column adjacent to my garage door. Mitch demonstrated commendable technical expertise in navigating a complex setup, which included 3-phase wiring, a Tesla solar gateway, current transformers (CTs), solar panels, a battery system, backup circuits, and standard residential wiring. He meticulously reorganized what was previously a chaotic array of cables into neatly routed, clearly identifiable lines. His attention to detail was further exemplified by the use of printed labeling coated in epoxy resin in place of the typical handwritten markings. He is a credit to his employer and to the electrical trade, and any client would be fortunate to have him attend their project.

Efficient service through our builder, very good communication before attendance but lacked detail in a follow up call to reconnect power leaving us without power for a few days. Wiring diagram requested was not to the detail I needed either, I had to carry out point to point testing myself on data connections.
