We tried contacting several tradies for quotes for getting a bunch of things done, and had slow or no response from most, and the one that did respond (RACV Tradies) had drastically high prices by comparison. Murphy on the other hand was very responsive to our request for quote, was thorough in his questions and response, and helpful with suggestions for how to achieve what we wanted. We had some challenging work to complete, two outdoor ceiling fans with concealed runs on our high-roof verandah, 4 separate outdoor power points (where his suggestions were excellent) and then internal work replacing outlets, running new ones, fitting a replacement oyster light, and then replacing old smoke detectors. Murphy was communicative, on time, a favourable price, and he was happy to offer advice about future work or requirements even if he was not going to be responsible for them. I can say that we were entirely happy with the work, the products, and really appreciated that dealing with Murphy was entirely stress-free. Highly recommended.

Murphy and his team have helped us out a few times now, first with electrical upgrades throughout the house, and more recently with installing fans in our bedrooms. He’s straight-up about what’s not right with the old system and doesn’t shy away from making clear recommendations to improve safety and future-proof the switchboard. Reliable, honest and easy to deal with.
