Mal was fantastic! Saved me alot of money. Be sure to get at least two quotes. Don't panic if your power stops, you will live. Mal is a good tradesman. I was a trades assistant to a sparky 40 years ago and Mal is perfect. Please make sure you talk to Mal before you commit to anything.

I called Standby Electrical services to help me with a lighting issue. Mal came around , gave me a few suggestions which I agreed to. Mal did the wiring and installation of the lights in my home. Malcolm’s was a pleasure to deal with , his work excellent , along with providing excellent advice to ensure the best outcome. We used Malcolm on all the electrical as in the renovated bathroom , his suggestion for tile heating was a winner , along with upgrading our switchboard. Mal was incredibly efficient and installed a replacement wall oven, fans, lights and updated my fuse box as well as identified issues I was having with my utility costs. He gave me great info on where to source needed parts for other home fittings I am repairing. Imagine my surprise and delight once he repaired and connected a new switchboard that an internal cooling system sprang to life which had been dead since I moved into the house in 2002. I have Mal’s card and not going to lose it!

After and electrical fire on a Saturday morning we called Mal who came to our rescue. He came out straight away and restored power to our house. He later returned to upgrade out switch board and arranged for a safety inspection. Mal explained exactly what was required and completed all of the required work in a timely and efficient manner. For an obviously experienced and reliable electrician his work was first class and rates very reasonable. We called Mal with a list of electrical tasks a mile long - and the list kept growing as our renovations proceeded. We had some tricky requests and Mal was only too happy to help. He didn't cut any corners and he explained everything along the way.
