Jay from Statewide Sparkies went above and beyond on our recent project. His professionalism, customer service, and attention to detail were second to none, and the quality of his work far exceeded expectations. He completed a huge scope of work for us, including installing a comms cabinet and terminating around 24 Ethernet cables, upgrading and replacing our switchboard, converting old fixed lights to modern downlights, and adding 12 new power points. He also hardwired dual heat strips and carefully split some of our power circuits into smaller, safer groups. What really impressed me was Jay’s expertise with smart home technology. He installed Zigbee dimmers, set up Shelly automation devices for smart appliance control, and added Shelly energy monitoring so we can now track our incoming power across all three phases as well as from our solar inverter. Everything integrates seamlessly and works exactly as we wanted. If you’re looking for someone who can deliver top-quality electrical work and also bring your home into the future with smart technology, I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

Jay and the team from Statewide Sparkies installed downlights in my garage a few weeks ago. What seemed like a straightforward job turned out to have some complications, but Jay handled them without fuss. We now have six downlights that illuminate the entire garage - a massive improvement over the hideous fluorescent light that was there before. Jay's problem-solving approach and professional work made the whole process easy.

Jay's work is 10/10, but we all know that or he wouldn't be posting it on YouTube and opening himself up to critique, but he's also just genuinely a great person. Also, if you're getting smart home work done he's HIGHLY skilled in this area and has a personal interest in it. Definitely hit him up!
