Follow up review - 17 August 2023. I am compelled to write another review for Liam. I contacted Liam once again wanting dimmer lights installed. We locked in a day and a time. Liam came as scheduled and got the job done with his usual professional, diligent and friendly manner. I highly recommend Liam. Genuine. Listens to what you want. Prompt. Respectful. Reliable. Honest. Adding further review - 31 March 2023. So, fourth time I’ve engaged Liam for a job. Let this be known - still punctual. I mean seriously on-the-dot punctual. IF running ‘late’ you will receive a text - and ‘late’ usually means 5 mins. I respect that tradespersons are busy but Liam is a genuine, professional, diligent person who is truly a standout in the trades field. Personally, prior to Liam, I’ve only ever experienced no shows, postpones and ridiculously late (with no contact) arrivals. Agree to a time - Liam will turn up! Liam takes pride in his work - leaves no stone unturned. I changed my mind twice on length of pendant lights - Liam accommodated - no job too small or too big. Honestly - I can’t give enough accolades for Liam. You WON’T be disappointed. Loyal. Trustworthy. Efficient. Cleanliness like no tomorrow. You will feel like you’ve known Liam forever. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended and suspect, like me, you’ll keep Liam as your forever electrician once you’ve met him. Adding to first review: This one dated 25 February 2023. So, when was the last time you remember any tradie (a) telling you he’s running 5 min late (b) turns up without fail no matter what (c) charges a reasonable price for any job and (d) picks up the phone when called - or returns your call in less than 2 minutes flat??!! I engaged Liam once again to have pendant lights installed above my kitchen bench. Job inspected, quote provided by end of day, date and time locked in. On day of service, Liam lays down drop sheets etc to avoid any and all rubbish hitting the floor. I actually had to insist that he not vacuum or clean up when finished! Liam is so focussed on precision, listens to what you want done, provides safe, professional advice, and completes the job to perfection. Lights look amazing - took extra fidget time as fussy me wanted dimmer light. No job too hard or too annoying for Liam. Honestly, if you are seeking a reliable, genuine, professional, can-do electrician, call Liam. You won’t be disappointed. I’m not financially well set however, I’d have 200% faith in investing all in Liam - the returns won’t disappoint. (See photos) I needed an extra power switch, power switch relocated and a TV mounted. I searched locally for an electrician and made a few phone calls. No one returned a message. I then attempted to book online and the response was better but I was hesitant to engage electricians who quoted without inspection. I then came across Liam - McGrath Electrical Services. I cannot give enough accolades for the service and timely response provided by Liam. I received a phone call as soon as I sent my query. Liam requested to inspect the job and booked me a time and date that suited me. He was super punctual. Polite. Liam listened carefully to what I required, was very knowledgeable and articulated process involved clearly and confidently. Liam promised to send me a quote as soon as he calculated the cost of the job. Within an hour I received the quote and I accepted it. To be honest, Liam’s quote was not the cheapest and not the highest - but it was the most reasonable, genuine and transparent quote of all. I can assure you that you will have total peace of mind knowing that Liam is reliable, delivers work on schedule, and is up to date with standards and protocols. Liam is professional in all his actions - cleans up too! Respectful of your home, well presented, competent and focused on providing exceptional electrical services. I have recommended Liam to my neighbours and work colleagues. Was recommended Mcgrath Electrical Services through a friend and was not disappointed. Liam was prompt and up front with the quotes over the phone so I was not wasting any time. The job was done in a timely manner and the workmanship was second to none. He was very professional and easy to get along with. I contacted about 8 electricians for a job, and Liam managed to respond AND complete the job before any of the others had even gotten back to me. Really great work and very reasonable pricing. After using a few dodgy electricians in the past, it’s great to find someone I can trust.
