From my first enquiry through to job completion, their professionalism was evident. Key highlights of my experience include: - Excellent communication – via text, phone, and in person, always clear and helpful. - Easy to reach – calls answered promptly and follow-up provided without delay. - Reliability – always arriving on time, as scheduled. - Friendly and approachable – providing genuine customer service that made me feel comfortable. - Technical expertise – demonstrating strong knowledge, skills, and practical advice. - Attention to detail – ensuring neat, precise work and thorough clean-up. - Great value – fair and competitive pricing. My initial contact was for a rangehood installation. Matthew answered my call immediately, was courteous and efficient, and quickly arranged a site inspection by Nathan. Nathan arrived on time, kept me updated with text messages, and impressed me with both his positive attitude and technical expertise. He not only assessed the installation but also identified areas where our home was not fully compliant with electrical safety standards. Their quote was reasonable, and I confidently proceeded with the installation. On the scheduled day, both Mathew and Nathan arrived punctually, communicated their ETA, and worked seamlessly as a team. They installed the rangehood with precision, left the workspace clean, and even offered to return free of charge to finalise installation of the flue to the roof once plastering and painting were complete. When I later contacted them to finish this stage, they responded immediately and scheduled the work for the next day. The rangehood now looks fantastic and functions perfectly. Impressed by their service, we also engaged them to upgrade our electrical system by installing a new safety switch. Once again, Mathew and Nathan carried out the work expertly, conducting thorough testing throughout the home and providing certification. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the quality of work, professionalism, and ongoing support provided by Jim’s Electrical Lilydale. Mathew and Nathan have exceeded our expectations, and I have already recommended their services to friends and family. It is with confidence and gratitude that I recommend them to others as trusted, skilled electricians.

    Have had Mathew complete a couple of jobs for me and I must say I cannot recommend him enough. No job was a problem. He is extremely professional, turned up on time, always kept me in the loop and is very reasonable in rates. Jobs were done quickly to an extremely high level. Made sure everything was clean before he left and very friendly. I wish I could give more stars. Have worked with a lot of tradesmen in my life and Mathew would be the pinnacle of them all.
