I found John through the positive reviews on the WOMO site and he's come out to my unit for a few electrical jobs. He replaced all my old halogen down-lights with energy saving down-lights. The house looks much brighter and my electricity bills have been slashed. John is friendly, polite and reliable and will give you plenty of advice to make your job cost effective and compliant with all the latest regulations. Easy recommend. A+

John came to install a number of lights for us. The quality of his work is impeccable, and clearly comes from years of experience. He also provided great advice for improving the lighting, which has elevated the feeling of our dining area and kitchen. We needed a switchboard upgrade and John was quick to respond. He showed up on time and he completed the work as quoted. We were happy with the job done. We would use him again and would recommend him to family and friends.

I was looking for an electrician and came across JAE Electrics via Google. I checked out the company's Google reviews, and the available testimonials on their Web page, and it was a no brainer! I contacted John and asked him if he could come over and give me a quote. John was very accomodating. We had a number of tasks for him to do around the house, like replacing a few old fashioned downlights that were faulty. These are the ones that had there own transformers hidden away in the ceiling. John had no problems changing these, but his advice was for us to replace these with another, more modern and more efficient version of the downlights. These basically are the same in size, but come with no individual transformers. John replaced the transformers with a standard female plug adaptor as each of the 'led' downlights had their own male plug. These will not only be very easy to replace, but are a lot more efficient in the long run as there is no excess heat loss that is usually experienced with downlights that have their own transformers. Transformers generally get hot when in use! It needs to be added, at no time did John pressurise us to replace our existing downlights with the new ones he had. It was our choice. We have tall ceilings, and we decided to take John's advice. I have to admit, these "new" led downlights put the old one to shame. The beam angle is wider and the intensity bright, cool white. We got John to replace all our downlights. An additional advantage with these, you can fit dimmers to them too, unlike the old ones we had. I have not informed John as yet, but I will be asking him to add a few more dimmers when he comes next! Something else John was able to do for us when he came the first time; it so happened, our old oven and range-hood needed replacing as they were both faulty. I asked John if this was something he could do for us. He had no problems accomodating us. We ordered a new oven and range-hood, arranging to have them delivered the same day John was going to work on all our other electrical needs. It worked out perfectly. John's first task was to remove and disconnect the old oven and range-hood. No sooner he had done that the new oven and range-hood were delivered. The oven and range-hood were fitted with ease, remembering most modern ovens are hard wired. John had absolutely no problems doing all of the work we had asked of him. He was accomodating, incredibly friendly and honest, totally professional and trustworthy. He will do what you ask, but will also advise on your needs, verses what you want done. At times we had asked John to do some changes, but he advised us against them. Yes, he could have done them, but felt it was not worth the effort and cost (for us his customer)! In conclusion, I had others provide us quotes. All of them could not even come close to John's quote. In fact, John's final invoice included components that we had not even considered when receiving quotations from the contractors we had initially contacted. I have no hesitation recommending John to anyone requiring electrical work done for them. As John mentioned to me when I asked what type of work does he do? His reply was, 'anything that has an electrical wire'! I can believe that! John's work for us does not end here! I will be calling on him again, and again!
