I found Verdouw Electrical online as I've just purchased a little place on Bruny Island that needed a new hook-up and don't have any contacts in the area yet. I'm so glad I trusted the many five star reviews because they are all obviously well deserved! I have been very impressed by Brad's professionalism and high quality of work, and intend to use Verdouw Electrical on any future jobs I have coming up in Southern Tasmania. Communication in the lead up and after the job were great (phone, text and email), and there were no issues with turning up when he said he would, accurately billing or having questions answered which are the big ones for me. Saying that, while all those things are important, the big test for me when working with any trade is how things are handled when not everything goes to plan. Brad had a chance to prove himself early when we had a slight "hiccup" in the first hour of the job when an excavator hit one of the transmission lines and cut off power to my new neighbours (not the best "welcome to the street" situation!). Brad handled what was a very stressful and potentially dangerous situation in a way where I never felt worried as the client that things weren't going to be handled properly, or that I needed to be concerned for my own or other workers safety, so kudos to Brad for making what could have been a VERY bad day into a good one. I highly recommend Verdouw Electrical and just hope that the next time I need to book Brad's services he's not too busy to fit me in!

Very pleased with the work Verdouw carried out at our home. The entire team were punctual, professional and hard working. The team provided invaluable advice before and throughout the renos. They even co-ordinated the plumber and carpenter we needed to carry out urgent and simultaneous work. Excellent overall service. Would highly recommend.

Would recommended without reservation We were fortunate to have Brad as our electrician when we built our new house. He was friendly, hard-working and trustworthy. He was always available to provide useful advice. Nothing was a hassle despite us making a few changes. He was flexible and reliable, fitting in with the builder and other trades. He obviously holds himself to high standards with his workmanship, and we are very happy with his work in our house and shed.

I called Brad to do a switch board upgrade, and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. He was very helpful with information before the job, quick to schedule a day and time, and arrived when he said he would. Brad was friendly, fast, efficient and obviously takes great pride in the work and results. Definitely my first call next time I need electrical work done. Highly recommended.
