Matt, was quick to call you back. You tell him what you would like to get done, and he gives you answers that gives you confidence to get started straight away. I had side lights and a sensor installed. I gave my ideas of what I wanted to get done. Matt gave me a suggestion that I was happy to go with. Thank you Matt for an excellent job on the installation.

We required some electrical work around the house. External downlights, new power points and replacing fluros with LED batterns. Matt's quote was competitive but his attitude was excellent. His work was carried out without any fuss and to a very high standard. I would highly recommend him for top class electrical work

Matt was a pleasure to deal with on the phone when I first contacted him about the work. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression. His quote was impressive as it was all itemised rather than the usual total price with very little or no breakdown. The work he did was great quality and very neat and tidy and he was regularly checking and suggesting different options. The quality of the work and attention to detail is a testament to Matt's lovely personality and demeanour. Thanks Matt look forward to locking you in for future work Tony

Frequently asked questions

How much do electricians typically charge?
Costs vary depending on the job type, how much fault-finding is needed, and whether switchboard or circuit work is involved. Electricians typically charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate, and after-hours attendance usually attracts higher rates. Check the live pricing on this page to compare local quotes.
Do electricians charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and are usually charged separately to labour and materials to cover travel and the initial assessment. Some providers may also have a minimum charge for small jobs, so it's worth confirming any call-out or minimum fees when requesting quotes.
Do electricians need a licence in Australia?
Yes — electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW licensing is through NSW Fair Trading. Electricians should display a valid state electrical licence number on quotes and advertising and will usually issue a Certificate of Electrical Safety on completion of work.
How do I get a quote from MDarcy Electrical?
