We had a fantastic experience with Dan from Lightening Electrical and Communications. He helped us with upgrading and replacing switches to support our new solar battery system, as well as installing new downlights and a ceiling fan. The quality of the work was excellent; everything was completed professionally, neatly, and with great attention to detail. What really stood out was Dan’s flexibility and reliability. He went out of his way to accommodate the tight deadlines imposed by the solar installation company, making the whole process smooth and stress-free for us. His communication was clear, he turned up when he said he would, and he took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. Dan came highly recommended by our local Facebook group, and now we completely understand why. He is knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, and clearly takes pride in his work. It’s rare to find tradespeople who combine technical expertise with such great customer service. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dan to anyone looking for high-quality electrical work. Dan and his apprentice Riley recently completed a number of jobs at my home in Richmond. Dan communicated very effectively with me throughout the whole process. I was super impressed with how neat and tidy Dan was in cleaning up after himself. I can not recall every using such a 'clean' tradesman. Dan had a great way in guiding his apprentice along in what needed to be done and instilling confidence in his young employee. I would not hesitate to use Lightning Electrical again or recommending the business to anyone wanting electrical work done.

Dan was fantastic from the first phone call. He came out early on a weekend to give us a quote, explained everything clearly, and gave us different options to suit our budget. Once the job started, he was quick and always checked in to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Great communication, great workmanship. Fantastic service. Dan and his apprentice installed 5 ceiling fans in my house, moved some lights and ran a data cable in half a day and the quality of work was excellent. They also didn’t leave any mess in the house and were able to accommodate and work around a household with 2 kids and a baby present. Best electrician in Sydney!

Dan replied to our request to come and quote in SIX minutes. Yes SIX(6) minutes. Price quouted was competitive, was best or same price as other two electricians. Turned up to do work on the day promised. Great communication as on the day texted his estimated time of arrival and ended up arriving an hour before. His work was faultless, left the site clean. Could not ask for better and my wife and I have dealt with many trades in our careers. (And no, we are not related ! ) Regards, Robert Fraser

Amazing experience getting Dan out to install our EV charger. He highlighted all the works to be undertaken and what was required for compliance. Dan could not have been nicer to deal with and explained all our options clearly, tidied everything up when he was done and ensured we could follow up if we had any further questions.
