Good News Electrical

Pat has been my electrician for little while now and I’ve been super impressed. Super professional, quick work and extremely good pricing. He and Nick just installed my ESY 30kWh system connected to my solar via both DC and AC so it can charge the battery during a grid outage and also increased my solar production slightly without installing any new panels due to more inverter capacity - I also have the option of easily adding more panels in the future which I will probably do. Unlike lots of other trades I’ve used, Pat really explained it all to me, which circuits I wanted to have available during a grid outage, help setting up the ESY app on my phone and also putting the battery where it suits me (and aesthetically for my wife). Very nice install - looks like a work of art. He also went through a number of battery options such as Tesla, Sigenergy, Voltx and also ESY before choosing the best one for me - which also happened to be the cheapest as well so super happy about this! Really glad I got this installed before Jan 1 when the rebates drop Can’t wait for my next power bill to be zero!

I had Pat come around and talk to me about batteries. I knew I wanted one but had little understanding of how it all worked and whether the existing solar system on my roof would be compatible. Within an hour, I knew what I wanted and more so that Pat was the guy. Pricing was extremely reasonable and unlike most trades, he never once hit me up for a variation! What he said it would cost is what it cost! Very rare these days. On the day of install, Pat and his team turned up when they said they would (again, very rare), did what was needed to be done and then tidied up to leave the space cleaner than when they found it. Pat then gave me an extremely comprehensive tutorial on what they’d done in the board and how to use the app effectively. I could not recommend Pat and Good News Electrical highly enough.
