I have also had an absolutely brilliant experience with E-Smart Solar last year (yes, I am very behind in posting my Google Reviews). I connected with E-Smart Solar via Finn Peacock's SolarQuotes referral service (their service was great, and their site is very informative). Of the three recommended suppliers, one was VERY pushy about their suggested solution, the other was just NOT particularly interested in answering my questions, while Phil and Dean were simply great!!! I chatted with them both for about 7 months, before finally going ahead as my installation (in the upper Blue Mountains). My installation was complicated by the position of my home, the Blue Mountains Council's heritage overlay, the very old fuse box and mains wiring, plus the age and general condition of my home (at 125+ years old). Long, long story short, I also needed extensive L2 electrical work, plus rafters and metal roof sheets replaced ahead of the solar (12.69kW) and battery (10kW) installation. Phil and Dean happily remained engaged with me through all of this period, and through the unexpected delays (I needed to find a reasonably priced L2 sparky happy to work up here) and the unforeseen complications (like having a metal roof partially replaced, in the upper Blue Mountains, during the dead of winter). But Phil and Dean happily resized my proposed system, and requoted as conditions changed (also noting the Labor government's battery rebate kicking in). The required deposit, for locking in the deal, was also surprisingly small. They were always happy to discuss different technology and sizing options, and to answer every question I had, during the multiple site visits (to get all the kinks out of a potentially complex installation), or during phone and email conversations. Sparky Jay, Owen, and James (as well as Dean) did an absolutely fantastic job with the initial solar panel installation, and the later battery install (there was a slight delay due to supply issues). Even small issues, like swapping out unsuitable breakers was done without any fuss. The fast, neat, and astoundingly professional installation work (on both occasions) was VERY greatly appreciated. Even post install concerns (i.e., after I had paid my invoice) were quickly and decisively addressed (I thought I had a poor performing panel, but the lower average output was actually due to intermittent shading by a tree). So, I have been happily watching my power bill drop like a stone. My battery is supplying all my energy needs at night, and the battery backup has kept my home powered during blackouts. I would highly recommend E-Smart Solar and their entire team.

E-Smart Solar was just one of six companies i have contacted when we were looking to get solar done at our house. But ultimately we decided with them because everybody was extremely helpful in deciding what panels and inverter to get for our place. Later on in the process we decided to add batteries as well, Phil was very helpful in the planning and quoting process (and also very patient as it took a whole year before we went ahead with the installation as our situation changed so much during that one year that we had to put it on hold a few times), Dean, Jimmy and Jay were absolutely great with installation and very professional. Everything was hassle free and was done in a day and a bit. Very happy with their work and would definitely recommend them to anyone who would like a solar installation!

We had a Sigenergy system installed about 3 weeks ago now and it has been nothing short of perfect. Dean and phil were both fantastic from start to finish answering my man questions over many interactions. Can not recommend highly enough. All of his crew were extremely friendly and clean and left my house as clean as it was when they got here, which from past experience with different tradies was a blessing. I wouldn’t hesitate in using Esmart solar again in the future and can not recommend enough.

Excellent work in a tricky environment. We had numerous trades here at the same time and they came early to start before the others and worked in with everyone perfectly. Stress free for me as the owner. Great product service follow up and a great bunch of humans as well.
