We had our garage door serviced today by Mark and he did a great job. His service was professional, friendly, honest and economical. I would recommend his services to anyone in the future.

This place is honestly amazing. They are honest and reliable . They have been so professional and proficient. Any time we have had an issue with our garage remote They are willing to come back and fix the issue. They were honest when we asked if our garage door needed a service yet ..where most companies will sting you for a service even if it's not necessary yet. I would look no further than using Stirling garage door repairs. Thanks Luke!

Fantastic friendly service. Came out the same day and earlier than the time I booked as was in the area. Great pricing and info on our roller door. Definitely recommend Luke.

I was more than impressed with the work that Mark, AKA, Luke did for me today. Due to a rookie mistake I found myself with a roller door that would no longer work, via the motor, and had to be manually operated. Kind of like having a dog but doing your own barking. Mark identified the fault within 5 to 10 minutes so I got him to do a complete service to make it worthwhile the visit. I also got Mark to sell me an after market remote to replace the one I put thru the washing machine. The new remote was $50 as opposed to the $260 i had paid for 2 just under a year ago!! I was more than happy with his workmanship and the $200 it cost for the service and a new remote.

Frequently asked questions

How much do door installers typically charge?
Costs vary widely depending on whether the job is a simple adjustment, a standard internal or external door install, or work involving custom doors or frame modifications. Quotes commonly combine a call-out fee, hourly labour and materials, with after-hours or emergency work usually attracting higher rates. The live pricing shown on this page reflects current regional rates and the typical job bands for each type of work.
Do door installers charge call-out fees?
Many door installers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, and this is usually separate from labour and materials. Call-out fees are common in the rate card, though they may sometimes be waived if substantial work proceeds; it’s worth confirming this when requesting a quote. After-hours or weekend attendance often attracts higher rates.
Do door installers need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Door installers generally need a contractor licence or registration in every Australian state and territory; in NSW the relevant authority is the Building Commission NSW (formerly NSW Fair Trading). Look for a valid state contractor licence or registration displayed on quotes and advertising, an ABN with active registration and appropriate public liability insurance.
