The door is made very carefully and works perfectly with the frame in which it is installed. The locks and bolts work easily and efficiently. The powder coating is careful and covers with a thick layer. The door frame locks for their location are convenient and efficiently help to install them quickly. My assessment of the quality of the doors and their workmanship is very good and durable. A small note when closing the door is that the lock lollipop rubs against the painting of the frame and wipes it, which can be seen in the attached photo, there should probably be a stainless steel insert there. I assess the doors as very good and recommend them to all who do not want to have any problems with repairing or replacing doors, they are solid and secure our property solidly. First time customer of Lathams we ordered a double fire door kit. From the get go the sales lady (Daybie ) was polite , helpful and informative. Knew exactly what she was talking about.The kit was shipped off when she said it would all the way to South Australia. The kit arrived packaged amazingly well to ensure that it would be almost impossible to get damaged.we unpacked today for the carpenter to install. Both the carpenter and myself were amazed at how well thought out the design is and unbelievable quality. Cannot honestly speak more highly of the whole experience. Definitely worth it. Installed at our new premises and within 2 weeks we have had an attempted break in. All they did was waste their time and scuff a bit of the finish. So very happy with Lathams Security Door it's amazing.

These guys are absolutely amazing and their doors are pure quality. They are well and truly made for the DIYer and are an absolute breeze to install. I installed the personnel door in my garage, replacing a hollow core door that was falling apart. The frame wasn't square, but the side extension brackets allow you to square up the door. They aren't super cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. If I needed another door I wouldn't hesitate and purchase another one. John is a top bloke and will definitely look after you.
