Brilliant service. We had 3 screens installed and a custom screen door built at it was all incredibly reasonably priced. We'll happily call them again when we get the rest of the windows done.

Brilliant customer service, very professional installation in a tricky situation. So happy with the finished result.

I have been dealing with Adelaide Screens for over 2 and a half years. They were recommended to me by a very good friend. I can highly recommend them to anyone wanting professional workmanship and outstanding prompt friendly service. Prices were always as promised in the quotes. I am associated with Tea Tree Gully Croquet Club and have called on Adelaide Screens for work at the club. Once again always very professional. Thank you Neil and Jill.

Neil fitted security screens to every door and window on my new house. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable about his product. He suggested I have a "wood look" on the front door which is indistinguishable from the cedar door frame and I love it. Matches beautifully. Neil turned up on time every time and did what he said he would do. Such a pleasure to work with.

Frequently asked questions

How much do door installers typically charge?
Costs vary widely depending on whether the job is a simple adjustment, a standard internal or external door install, or work involving custom doors or frame modifications. Quotes commonly combine a call-out fee, hourly labour and materials, with after-hours or emergency work usually attracting higher rates. The live pricing shown on this page reflects current regional rates and the typical job bands for each type of work.
Do door installers charge call-out fees?
Many door installers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, and this is usually separate from labour and materials. Call-out fees are common in the rate card, though they may sometimes be waived if substantial work proceeds; it’s worth confirming this when requesting a quote. After-hours or weekend attendance often attracts higher rates.
Do door installers need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Door installers generally need a contractor licence or registration in every Australian state and territory; in NSW the relevant authority is the Building Commission NSW (formerly NSW Fair Trading). Look for a valid state contractor licence or registration displayed on quotes and advertising, an ABN with active registration and appropriate public liability insurance.
How do I get a quote from Adelaide Screens?
