I showed up with the design of our entire house specified as a competitors range. With no prior appointment, Shamila meticulously went through every window and door on the entire project with me and mapped it across to the equivalent Wideline products. Glass thickness, coatings, hardware, locking, fall from heights, Basix - you name it we sorted it out together. 2.5 hours later and I had the confidence in what I was having quoted. Thank you Shamila for your great service!

Shamilla was so helpful over the phone in assisting with a part we needed for a sales property. We had no clue what it was called and after explaining she knew exactly what we needed and how we could get this sourced. Highly recommend Shamilla for any assistance with wideline products!

I purchased two aluminium windows from Wideline, and they look great and they arrived on time. A big thank you to Jordan for helping us to choose the right windows. I cannot fault the service.

Door Installation costs & guides

Frequently asked questions

How much do door installers typically charge?
Costs vary widely depending on whether the job is a simple adjustment, a standard internal or external door install, or work involving custom doors or frame modifications. Quotes commonly combine a call-out fee, hourly labour and materials, with after-hours or emergency work usually attracting higher rates. The live pricing shown on this page reflects current regional rates and the typical job bands for each type of work.
Do door installers charge call-out fees?
Many door installers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, and this is usually separate from labour and materials. Call-out fees are common in the rate card, though they may sometimes be waived if substantial work proceeds; it’s worth confirming this when requesting a quote. After-hours or weekend attendance often attracts higher rates.
Do door installers need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Door installers generally need a contractor licence or registration in every Australian state and territory; in NSW the relevant authority is the Building Commission NSW (formerly NSW Fair Trading). Look for a valid state contractor licence or registration displayed on quotes and advertising, an ABN with active registration and appropriate public liability insurance.
