S&L Salvage

S&L Demo did a great job of a partial house demo for a subdivision I undertook. They were flexible and considered my needs during the job. Ben recommended I kept my driveway in tact so the builder could use it, then they came back after the build to remove it in preparation for the new driveway. This saved me a few thousand $$. They even helped me out with a few odd jobs while they were there, such as erecting some ATF fencing. Highly recommend for demo services.

I went in last Saturday needing some Jarrah for a craft project. Greg was extremely helpfully suggesting a variety of alternatives that would be more cost effective. Greg was very generous with his time and pricing and I will certainly be sourcing the wood I need from him

If you want a warm fuzzy meeter greeter experience can I suggest Bunnings? If you want to be able to search for genuine bargains, and source good hardwood timber, windows, doors etc this is the place. I don't recognize Greg from some of these reviews..perhaps the customer experience is more to do with customer attitude?

OMG I cant believe the negative reviews. If you want high prices, squeaky clean shop, vacuous shallow sales people - go elsewhere. If you want something on a budget, unusual, recycled, with character, and maybe a relic from the past (and most likely quality made) - then this is the place. Have a sense of humour and an open mind - these places are a gem and should be treasured. And I am a shy female with terrible balance, but managed to escape without injury or being offended! My car was FULL of wonderful bargains, and our chippy is now lined up with all the timber he could ever want to do our job. Lighten up people and enjoy a bit of ocker brusque humour and genuine service!!
