Tony and his team have done many jobs at our house. Tony is easy to reach and returns calls. He has been happy to come and look at small and bigger jobs. They team have always been efficient, courteous and persistent (solving a difficult water issue!) We have been very happy with the work. My wife and I moved into our home in Fairfield over ten years ago. It is an old 1940's weather board house on a large block, that has been raised and also extended. During this time we have conducted extensive renovation in an effort to make it ideal for our life with two young boys. During this time Tony King has been instrumental in construction projects as diverse as a whole new front lock up double garage, retaining walls to manage the sloping block and drainage systems to manage surface water. We have also engaged him for smaller more maintenance / upkeep work, in line with the fact that the house is wood and of the vintage mentioned. We can absolutely recommend Tony both in terms of quality of work he provides and the service given during any project, regardless of how big or small. In our experience he always responds to email and texts promptly, arrives at scheduled meetings on time and lends his opinion and expertise in a constructive way during any planning for work to be undertaken. Renovating, building and maintaining properties can be a stressful time, especially when juggling work and family commitments; but Tony has always made this process run as smoothly as possible. I can’t speak highly enough of Tony and his team, I found Tony to be very knowledgable, practical and honest, he and his team were able to repair the sunken front entry stairs for my rental property when other tradies didn’t think it was possible. The end result was exceptional, I even engaged Tony for other repair work for the house. They also performed the work as scheduled with no delays; must say he was accommodating and flexible on fixing time-date slots despite his heavy workload/busy schedule. Tony King and his Buildmaster team undertook all the build under work at our West End worker’s cottage, creating a fabulous modern space that accommodates a granny flat and seperate four bed apartment. Tony worked within our budget and specification helping us exceed our original plans to include an extra bathroom and bedroom as well as finishing to a high quality standard that continues to delight. Since completing the build under works Tony has been back for further enhancements to our Queenslander home.
