We recently worked with MPR Construction and couldn’t be happier with the result. Marc was fantastic from start to finish and was professional, reliable, and genuinely great at walking us through the process and answering our questions. He helped us build a new deck and knock out a wall, and the workmanship was absolutely flawless. The whole process was smooth, communication was clear. Highly recommend to anyone and would definitely use them again.

Short version: do yourself a favour and hire Marc for your deck project. We had an existing deck that was relatively new but nowhere near up to code and in dire need of attention, not to mention that we wanted to install a pergola over it to make more use of the space. Marc assessed our situation and came up with an excellent plan to use the existing bones of the deck, get it up to scratch, and install a fully fitted out pergola with lighting and insulation. His attention to detail is an absolute credit to him and his business - everything was measured carefully and with pinpoint accuracy, his stylistic suggestions were considered and intuitive, and to top it all off, Marc is a fantastic guy to get along with - he’s always responsive and is a great communicator. It’s been great having him to craft this wonderful addition to our home.

I had a long term goal to renovate our main bathroom to make it more functional. Marc helped us achieve this goal, listening to what we had in mind and working with us to design a beautiful bathroom that worked well in the space. Marc was pleasant, reliable and engaging, he offered advice and recommendations that were helpful to what we were looking to achieve. He happily accommodated any changes going above and beyond following up with suppliers. Marc was very professional, down to earth and communicative, keeping us informed every step of the way. MPR Deck Canberra (Marc) completed a walkway and deck to the front door. We wanted the walkway to be wide enough for wheelchairs and no steps into the house. Marc responded to our request in a prompt friendly matter and discussed the various options and costings. He gave us detail information on the advantages and disadvantages of timber vs ecodeck and we went for the ecodeck. The work was to start before we went away to the NT for two weeks. Due to weather and other circumstances this did not happen. All the work was done while we were away. He regularly send photos of the progress and kept us well informed. Marc did a fantastic job converting a muddy part of our yard into a lovely poolside retreat. He was really helpful with design ideas and flexible as the ideas evolved. The quality of the Pergola and deck are both top notch. I would not hesitate to recommend Marc.
