Dillion Installed a Tesla 7kw Wall Charger for me. He Was Punctual, proffesianal and safe. His prices were realistic and it was like dealing with a mate, no pressure at all. He even fixed some insulation in the roof and repositioned some cable behind my meter box that was poorly positioned from the original build! And when he finished the job he swept up and removed all rubbish. If you want a EV charger installed or any electrical work O highly reccommend NOR.

My experience was as follows: - Full transparency - Dillon made sure to double check every aspect of the job and showed me things as they were happening. - Excellent workmanship - I was very impressed with the solutions he came up with for the job. He was also a very tidy and neat worker who cared about the details and did a proper job of every aspect. - Great Price - I was very happy with what I had been quoted for the job and the outcome! - Very trustworthy - Nothing more to be said. Overall, extremely happy 10/10, will go with NOR electrical again for the next job.

Frequently asked questions

How much do electricians typically charge?

Costs vary depending on the job type, how much fault-finding is needed, and whether switchboard or circuit work is involved. Electricians typically charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate, and after-hours attendance usually attracts higher rates. Check the live pricing on this page to compare local quotes.

Do electricians charge call-out fees?

Call-out fees are common and are usually charged separately to labour and materials to cover travel and the initial assessment. Some providers may also have a minimum charge for small jobs, so it's worth confirming any call-out or minimum fees when requesting quotes.

Do electricians need a licence in Australia?

Yes — electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW licensing is through NSW Fair Trading. Electricians should display a valid state electrical licence number on quotes and advertising and will usually issue a Certificate of Electrical Safety on completion of work.
