He came and installed a couple of smoke alarms that had expired, and also changed over an RCD that needed it. He did the job quickly and professionally, and at competitive price. I can't speak highly enough of John. He was recommended to us and a blessing it was. The initial issue was resolved quickly and permanently! We've since had him back for a 'project' on a new build. We had a pretty eclectic range of electrical work we wanted done, including changes to outdoor lights, installing a bathroom fan/heat/light combo, and a bunch of Internet cabling, among other things. John was quick to reply to our inquiry and, unlike some competitors we also inquired with, he provided a detailed response and rough quote covering all the various things we’d asked about. The price reasonable; it was easy to negotiate a day/time that worked for us; and he followed up with some important questions and advice. On the day, John and Matt came out, and they completed everything within about half a day. They were friendly and polite, efficient, tidy, and helpful when checking exactly what we wanted and providing suggestions as relevant. All the work looks great, everything is running as expected, and the price is roughly what was quoted. We’re very glad we chose Oceanside Power & Communications and more than happy to recommend!
