Dean, Clint and their team were a pleasure to work with, achieving an extremely high standard of work at my house. It was a tricky installation of outdoor heaters, however the end result was amazing. All of the team were friendly, accommodating and extremely efficient, attention to detail was excellent. I would highly recommend Dean and Clint from Approved Electrics. Pam Lewis.

Reliable and easy to deal with. Used for a kitchen reno a few years ago and then a bathroom reno plus a couple of small jobs at the same time. Zac who did the bathroom was great. Dean came back without a fuss and at no cost to replace an outdoor sensor light that was faulting (issue with the light not the work)

Quality work today from Dean at Approved Electrix. Not only fixed issues I had identified but inspected house and did work on additional items that needed attention. Highly recommend Susan Bradley

Frequently asked questions

How much do electricians typically charge?
Costs vary depending on the job type, how much fault-finding is needed, and whether switchboard or circuit work is involved. Electricians typically charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate, and after-hours attendance usually attracts higher rates. Check the live pricing on this page to compare local quotes.
Do electricians charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and are usually charged separately to labour and materials to cover travel and the initial assessment. Some providers may also have a minimum charge for small jobs, so it's worth confirming any call-out or minimum fees when requesting quotes.
Do electricians need a licence in Australia?
Yes — electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW licensing is through NSW Fair Trading. Electricians should display a valid state electrical licence number on quotes and advertising and will usually issue a Certificate of Electrical Safety on completion of work.
How do I get a quote from Approved Electrix?
Approved Electrix lists phone, email, or through their website on this profile, so you can contact them directly for pricing and availability. Share a short scope and photos to get a faster quote.
