We were so glad to have engaged Darren’s services for our PCI as first home builders. At the end of a long, drawn-out build, it was so valuable to have someone come on board who so clearly knows his stuff. Darren is thorough, efficient and an excellent communicator. Our experience was so smooth and easy, from the initial enquiry (quite literally received a response from Brie 5 minutes after submitting the contact form, even at 7pm) to the final report. Our PCI was at 7:30 in the morning and Darren told us to expect the report by that afternoon—sure enough, it was in my inbox at 12:02pm. Can’t recommend Darren and his team enough!

My inspector, Darren, is extremely detail-oriented, carefully checking every corner, and he explained each of my questions with great passion. I engaged Char-Ron Construction for my 12 month service inspection with my builder. Darren arrived on time, equipped with a professional and polite manner and the experience you’d expect from a building professional. His eagle eyes picked out many defects that I really didn’t consider a problem. “C’mon Darren, we’re not being picky are we?” Not at all, but he explained that substandard issues are the cause of major problems. He’s not after a fight with the builder, but identifying defects that need to be rectified for items that I paid for and were set out in my build contract. This was my first time building a house in Australia. Before I started using Char's services, every time I suggested something to my builder, I was often dismissed with comments like "that's not important." However, once I started using Char's services, their professional reports and expertise made it much easier to negotiate with my builder at every stage. After Char issued their reports, they would send them to both me and my builder, and my builder never dismissed my concerns again. This made the entire building process much less stressful for me.
