I recently completed my ~$5.5m build in Balwyn with Virgon Constructions. I initially worked together with my architect, Parallel Workshop, to design an incredibly unique and contemporary home. We invited 8 builders to tender for the project and we ultimately selected Virgon Constructions, who admittedly weren't the cheapest (or most expensive), but they gave us the highest degree of confidence that they could deliver the project with quality, on time, and within cost. The fact that they're a family owned and operated business, with most of the key personnel within the business being a part of the family, added to our positive sense as well. Throughout the build, their level of communication was second-to-none and despite challenges with respect to latent conditions, weather, and just the general challenges of building post-COVID, they managed everything with great professionalism and care. As anyone who has gone through a build process will know, not everything will go to plan, but there was always a good sense of teamwork between all parties. The end product has received a lot of praise and compliments, from industry insiders as well, and over the past 11 months Virgon has continued to address any defects as necessary and also gone above and beyond in some other cases. Overall, a great building company to work with and I'd definitely build again with them. Thank you Christian, Renato, and the Virgon team.
