We couldn’t be happier with the work from Ramsay Builders. Brett Ramsay and his team have been outstanding from start to finish. I’m a very careful person when it comes to building a home, so I even hired an independent building inspector to double-check everything. To my delight, the inspector himself said the workmanship was “top of the notch” — a rare compliment from someone who sees countless projects. The quality, attention to detail, and professionalism from Brett and his company have truly exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!

We had a great building experience with Ramsay builder. The whole building process was very smooth and Brett was onsite almost everyday. He responded very quick and explained to us patiently when we asked questions. We had a third party inspector and they say the finishing quality was good. Ramsay builders handle everything from start to finish for us especially when we had no experience in the building field. A lot of things were explained in detail when we are confused, and there were prompt responses to our questions. With our budget we expected a wide range of material to choose from but it was a bit limited. The initial floor plan design did not meet our requirement and I did the floor plan by myself. Overall, we are happy with Ramsay's building quality and I have recommended to others.

Thank the team for delivering us a beautiful family space. We could not be happier with the result and the process. Our dealings with Ramsay Builders were more than professional: they cared about our project and went beyond expectations. We found them to be a very thorough, considerate and respectful team of builders, who were happy to trouble-shoot any issues as they arose. Our knockdown and rebuilt project consisted of a modern contemporary house with lots of glass windows and doors and skylights built to a detailed architectural design and specification. We started our project in the midst of the pandemic and there were quite a bit uncertainty around, and we were very concerned at first, but so lucky to have Brett and his team there, like a guardian angel, escorting us through a thunderstorm. The decision to choose Ramsay during the tender process was an easy one - based primarily on Brett’s communication, professional knowledge, state-of-art project management measures and most important of all, enthusiasm for the build. Though there were a handful of unexpected council planning challenges that arose during the build, none were too big for Brett to resolve and with minimal project impact too. The close relationships that he has built with his various tradespeople are quite evident and reflected in the high level of craftsmanship that were delivered in our finished product. For a person that have never built before, there can be lots of questions and “hearsay”, but Brett bridged this gap seamlessly and dispelled doubts by putting in the time to clearly explain and articulate how each aspect or process of the build worked. From the outset I was impressed with their organisation, reliability and ease to deal with. When some minor adjustments had to be made along the way, Brett and his team had good solutions and was responsive to requests. They were always focused on achieving a balance between quality outcome and affordability. The building was hence done with care and precision. We are over the moon with the result. Everyone who sees it is full of admiration. Importantly, they were also able to kept within our budget and time frame, ensured that we could move into our house on time, which we really appreciated, especially during such a challenging time. I know different people may have different building experiences, but with Ramsay Builders, you will only have one: assured. We would heartily recommend Brett and his team to anyone thinking about a build.

Loving our beautiful mid century style home. We've been in our Ramsay home for just over twelve months and we love it more every day. During the Covid lockdown we commenced the planning with Ramsay Builders over Zoom, on a complicated brief for our knock down rebuild. We wanted to design and build an elevated mid century style home, that blended into the green corridor of Boroondarra Council, for a busy family of four, who love cooking, entertaining and needed two home offices; on a block of land with a Melbourne Water flood overlay, a Yarra Valley easement that split the land unevenly on an angle, in a tree protected area. There were a number of planning problems to solve which included some serious engineering to elevate the house to accommodate the flood overlay and to support our high raked ceiling. Brett and the Ramsay team exceeded our expectations, met the brief and built us a custom, quality home with an exceptional finish. Their trade team was professional, friendly and experienced. Brett and Anthea were super organised. Each stage of the build was managed professionally and completed on time and on budget. They are very customer focused and guided us through each stage of the build. We have received so many compliments about the house, from the tradies who worked on the job that loved the challenge of building an original custom design, from passers-by and neighbours who knew the original 1950's home. Many have complimented us on building a home in a style and with a colour palette that is sympathetic to the area. Since our hand over there have negligible issues. The house has performed well through all seasons. Ramsay Builders delivered on their promise of quality and we are delighted with our new home.

Working with Ramsey Builders was a really smooth process from design to handover. Nothing seemed to be too hard, if something went wrong or not working they would find a solution whereas with other builders I feel they wouldn’t go the extra mile. I would recommend Ramsey Builders
