After getting a few quotes that just didn’t feel right, there was something about the way Kris presented himself and his business that gave us confidence we’d found the right person for our kitchen renovation. With years of experience behind him, Kris has absolutely nailed the good ’ol project management triangle of “time, cost, and scope.” His quote was spot on — thanks to a full, no-shortcuts build contract — which meant no back-and-forth or nasty surprise variations. The attention to detail right from the start meant the build came in bang on budget and, even better, was finished exactly when Kris said it would be. With Pilar running the admin side like a pro, and a team of polite, respectful tradies who treated our home like their own, the whole experience was smooth and stress-free. Kris is honest, easy to deal with, and has an eagle eye for detail. He really listened to what we wanted and delivered beyond our expectations — but most importantly, he brought the “home” back into our house, and for that I’m so grateful. It’s rare to find a builder who combines skill with genuine care for their clients, but Knstruct Bayside does exactly that. We’d recommend them in a heartbeat and would happily work with them again!

After Observing the transformation work Kris and his team undertook in a Beach House renovation across the street from us we were in need of having two large windows replaced in front of our house. The job was completed in a day and I was impressed in the team’s workmanship & Professionalism. Highly recommend Kris and the team at KNSTRUCT! Early in 2022, we had plans drawn up for the construction and installation of a prefabricated 6m shipping container pool (from QLD) on a large, elevated steel platform. We then called 7 different builders on the Mornington Peninsula to discuss the management of the final design and construction of this unusual project, including coordination of detailed structural engineer requirements, architect and building surveyor etc. There were 3 builders that were interested and provided quotes, however Kris from KNSTRUCT was the only one that was engaged, professional and easy to deal with. Kris had suggestions to improve the process and design which paid off by the time we finished the construction. Kris also had great admin support from Pilar who had professional and easy to understand documentation. This all happened during the first half of 2022, which has been a uniquely busy time in the construction industry, so Kris and the team were under the pump but never slipped behind their program. I wasn't expecting the process to be fun, but it was that and much more! (and we ended up with a pool) ;)
