Building my home on my own was a huge step, especially as someone who didn’t know much about the process at the beginning. What I appreciated most about the Hume Sunbury GJ Gardiner team was how they genuinely brought me along on the journey and helped me create something that truly feels like my own. My land took three years to settle, and during that time they remained supportive and responsive. Once construction began, the build was completed in an impressive 7 months - even across the Christmas period - with a high level of care and professionalism. The quality of workmanship and finishes throughout the home have been excellent. This home was deeply personal to me, and I made a number of design changes along the way. I really valued being involved in the process and learning as we went. The team took the time to explain things, answer my many questions, and work through decisions with me so the end result reflects exactly what I had envisioned. A special thank you to Luke, my site manager, whose empathy and collaborative approach made a real difference. He consistently listened, never dismissed my questions or ideas, and worked with me to find solutions. Roberta was wonderful in guiding me through design decisions with patience and insight. Liz has been incredibly responsive and supportive post-build, and Kevin oversees it all with clear passion and pride in a job well done. What stands out most is that this isn’t just a company building houses - it genuinely feels like a family building homes for families. Even 8 months after moving in, they continue to respond promptly to any queries. I’m incredibly grateful for the care and integrity they’ve shown throughout the entire journey. I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Had a home renovation with Kevin and Team from GJ Gardner Homes - Hume Sunbury. Very impressed with the competitive quote, the patience and support with my design and ideas and the on time completion before Christmas. Very professional from start to finish. Had a tour through their display homes and was amazed with the level of quality and finishes. Highly recommend and will definitely build with them once we sold our house.

It was our first time to build and our experience with GJ Gardner Hume has been very professional and all service delivered in timely manner. There were few matters along the planning and actual build but Kevin and his team has been great in addressing all issues and assured us that quality is their priority. Their suppliers are top of the line and the trades they employ are well-experienced. They have continued to support us even after the defects liability period which only show their commitment to quality build.

Really impressed with the design and execution! The layout flows beautifully and works so well in daily life, with gorgeous details throughout. The spaces feel light-filled, modern, and truly inviting. Superior quality in every aspect. Super highly recommended!
