We engaged Alex and his team to renovate a bathroom and kitchen in our apartment in Melbourne CBD and we are extremely happy with the outcome and the process. We now have a better apartment than we had imagined possible. Thanks to Alex and his designer Andre, our compact apartment now feels much bigger. Their experience and attention to detail has delivered a functional kitchen and more storage, with the design involving relocating the laundry and creating new cupboard space. The CBD location was challenging but Alex and his team worked to deliver the project on time and on budget. Throughout the process, he kept us updated on expected costs and schedules. He also liaised with the body corporate and our neighbours. We were really impressed with Alex's professionalism and the clear communication throughout the process and we are happy to recommend AMG Construction Group to anyone

AMG Construction Group were prompt in responding for a quotation to replace windows and sliding balcony doors on apartments in Footscray. Alex was professional and provided advice and options to the owners. He then coordinated the works on both lower and first floor apartments ensuring all safety requirements were met. The work was completed in 2 days and owners individually invoiced. The works were high quality as were the products used. His communication and coordination skills ensured everyone understood what was happening before, during and after. I would highly recommend AMG Construction Group as my apartment is sound and secure.

Alex McGough is an excellent builder and a top bloke. The high quality works that he has completed for me include a brick double garage, a bathroom, replacement of a section of roof, window replacement, repaired flooring, and emergency advice and works to make safe a ceiling at risk of collapse. Throughout the work he has kept me informed, been reliable and trustworthy (does what he says he will do, when he says he will), has been honest and transparent with costs, has planned and ordered ahead to minimise the likelihood of delays (important during the pandemic), has been friendly and approachable, has provided invaluable advice, has worked seamlessly with others and has delivered quality work that we love. Thank you Alex for your superb work!
