We recently did a major renovation on a very difficult old 70s house, where nothing was square and every corner presented new challenges. We found the process with Abode to be very thorough and felt supported all the way through. The exhaustive design spec process meant expectations were really clear and when we had issues or questions, Glenn was fast to respond or recommend. Everything was done to a high standard, Dan the Foreman was amazing on site and their trades were professional, tidy and talented.

Abode are a great company to deal with. Glenn guided us through the planning stages and patiently helped us come up with a lovely design, sympathetic to the heritage style of the house as well as enhancing the functionality of our home. He was also very helpful in offering advice on finishes which worked really well. Once we started the build, Matt was always available to advise how things were progressing and explained what was happening throughout the building stage. A great team with excellent customer service, a committment to quality and a great result. Highly recommended.

t was an easy process working with Abode from the first meeting right up until we moved in. The build was done on time and to budget and the finished house is exactly as we’d hoped it would be. Glenn, Matt, Peter and the team were insightful, always helpful and very patient with their advice and guidance throughout the build. We are very happy with the results and would highly recommend Abode Inspirations to anyone.

We worked with Glenn and Matt through covid on the extension of our home. Glenn has a great eye for design and has helped to elevate the design in many areas. Matt manages the build and always was available to answer questions and always spent as much time as we needed in our site meetings every 2 weeks. They always answered their phone and we worked through problems together and we are extremely happy with the end result. So much so that we have engaged them in another renovation!

Strongly recommend using Abode Inspirations. They are mainly a design and construct builder. Stick to budget, and timeline, and do a great job. Our renovation took 9 months from April 2018. Glenn, the partner who handles marketing, patiently aided us over a 2 year period finalising a design that worked for us and our budget. They kept to that budget. In researching Abode we contacted prior customers, the building inspector, our bank, tradesmen and suppliers. All had good experiences with them. When getting a loan we cannot stress enough the importance to the bank of having a reliable builder. Our bank said "oh Abode, oh yes we know them, they do great work and we have no problems with them". This was a key part of them approving a mortgage for us to do this work. Otherwise Mat is the building manager and partner. He is calm, organised and diligent. He manages subcontractors and their choice of subbies was excellent. Abode hires tradesmen that are careful and skillful and pleasant and responsive. Mat brought the project in ahead of schedule and ensured that variations that we wanted done reasonably priced. The specifications they set were good, the list of action items for us to undertake was comprehensive, and it was very positive that they insisted on us completing our specifications prior to commencing the job. Abode's office staff are also similarly polite, diligent and attentive. Contract administration was smooth and timely. Drafting was skillfully executed. Their recommendations for the choice of designers and painters were great. We are thrilled with our result for the budget we had.
