Renovating your house is no small endeavour and you want someone you can trust, but how can you really know?! Well, I can tell you. We're new to renovating, and had some loose ideas about what we wanted, but little idea about where to start, how much it would cost or how to make it a reality. We chose CK because of the diversity of their in house trades and the ability to make quick work of a BIG job. Chris quickly turned our ideas into a working plan and a fixed price quote. I felt confident we were being heard and we were on the same page. Chris was so available to help solidify a plan and in what felt like no time at all, we were on our way. Chris, Trent and the team have just wound up a 4 month renovation at our place which has transformed our home and lifestyle. Our lounge, kitchen, dining, master bedroom, walk in robe and ensuite were renovated with exemplary attention to detail I'm not going to lie, I felt apprehensive about a team of people I didn't know taking over the home we were still living in with our little people, but this soon melted away. The team bought good vibes and giggles for all of us. The team have been available, responsive and accommodating. I learned along the way that a problem (I'm talking a misplaced powerpoint, or a measurement that was off) was only as big as I made it. If something was not as we anticipated, the guys were only too happy to make it so. The quality and attention to detail delivered in the finished product is outstanding (satisfying even my neurocies 🫣). Every little bit has been finished to the highest standard, but the bathroom planning deserves a special mention. These guys know their stuff. We could not be more grateful. Based on our recent bathroom reno/rebuild, we can highly recommend CK Contracting and would not hesitate to use their services again! From design, demolition, construction through to clean up and delivery, the experience and final result were outstanding. Our 1925 built Kingston Beach house was badly in need of a new bathroom; think spa jets (died long ago) in the bath, shower over the bath, cramped laundry arrangement, poor lighting, cheap fittings throughout…it’s also a very small bathroom, so space is at a premium. Chris Kilpatrick was helpful right from the get-go, made plenty of suggestions and introduced us to Beaumont Tiles which proved to be a great move. It’s now a beautiful, updated space which doesn’t jar with the rest of the house, which is quite casual. Features include; - Updated fittings - Blade wall. - Floor to ceiling tiling - Contrasting tile colours - Custom cabinetry for the laundry space - New exterior window - New lighting/heating - Underfloor heating - Replacement of flooring joists - Lowered ceiling to counter the previous uneven one. - Painting to several areas in and outside of bathroom. - Temporary shower/toilet in driveway (fun!) The trades worked very well together, were tidy and their progress updates/photos via the WhatsApp group were super helpful. We were never left guessing as to what was happening. They continually made useful suggestions and gave us considered choices along the way. The whole project management by Trent and Michael was spot on and any requests and variations from us were handled professionally and accommodated. Thank you again CKC!

We recently had our bathroom renovated by CK we are so happy with how it turned out. The whole process was way less stressful than we were expecting, communication was clear, and the work itself was done properly, not rushed at all, they go absolutely above and beyond :) The team was friendly, super respectful of our home, and showed up when they said they would. Any questions or small changes along the way were handled easily, and the finished bathroom looks stunning. We recently had our ensuite completely renovated by CK Contracting after discovering significant damage. Our home is relatively new, so learning that the ensuite had failed in under six years was extraordinary frustrating. Attempts to seek recourse from the original builder were unsuccessful, leaving us without a usable ensuite for nearly 18 months. As demolition gave way to reconstruction, we were impressed by the care and respect CK Contracting showed not just to the project but care and consideration for our home. The finished ensuite is absolutely stunning and far exceeds what we imagined. CK Contracting’s professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly, courteous approach made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable.
