After a patch and paint and now 8 years later we still have no cracks or movement. I particularly appreciated how they found the root cause and made suggestions to fix to ensure no future issues, this was just a case of adding one extra down pipe.

Read moreTodd came to inspect our issue on the 28th February. After not hearing from anyone for a couple of weeks, I ‘phoned them. They apologised for the delay and a quote was provided a few days later. I agreed to the quote and immediately paid the requested deposit. Work started on Monday the 10th November (i.e. over 8 months later!). That’s ok and quite understandable - good companies are always busy and in high demand, but, please, read on… An invoice was sent to me dated Thursday the 13th November…the due date for payment was Friday the 14th November (i.e ONE DAY LATER). My bank only allows their customers to personally transfer $2k a day online. Any more than that we have to physically visit our bank and get a staff member to do it for us…which I intended to do on Monday the 17th November. My outstanding account was for $5005.00. HOWEVER, first thing on Monday morning I received a terse call from Brittany informing me that my payment was late!!! I explained the transfer limit issue to her. During this ‘phone call, I also asked for the name of their stonemason - Brittany was going to text it to me…this was provided a few days later. The receipt was provided on the 24th November. Summary: 1. Forgetting my job until I ‘phoned them about 2 weeks after the original inspection to remind them. 2. 8 months wait time 3. Thursday 13th, received invoice saying the account was due on Friday the 14th November (I.e. a 24 hour payment deadline). 4. Monday (morning 17th) received a ‘phone call saying my payment was late. 5. During this call (see point 4) I asked for the name of their stonemason. This was provided by email a few days later. 5. Formal receipt received on the 24th November. They’re eager on getting their money but slow in customer service. I am happy with the work (so far!!) and with the professionalism shown by the workers who actually did the repairs. However, the payment policy and customer relations skills of office staff need work. Tip: I realise there are always cash flow challenges in running a business but expecting immediate payment on completion of work is not realistic - especially when daily limits are imposed on funds transfers by banks/credit unions. If a weekend is close this compounds the short payment window problem. I’d like to suggest that payment within 7 days should be their policy. This would seem to be a happy medium. I need to emphasise the fact that I wasn’t happy with the ‘late payment’ call from Brittany either. This was totally unnecessary and somewhat demeaning and embarrassing. I’ve never experienced this before! I recommend the work of Urathane Solutions (so far!!) but their payment policy should be extended to 7 days. Payment follow-up ‘phone calls to customers should be postponed until 7 days have elapsed. 5 stars for the work actually done. If it were possible, I would only give 1 star for the payment policy and long delays in providing follow-up information. Dr. Luke Faulkner

Read moreWe are extremely happy with the results that were achieved by Lenny and his crew from Urathane Solutions (work undertaken October '24 in Kensington Gardens). Lenny communicated with us daily throughout the process and his crew were great. The process itself was very unobtrusive, there was minimal disruption to us and the results were better than what we imaged - the sections done around our house are now stable and sections of the internal floors have been raised. Highly recommend Urathane Solutions.
