Our experience working with DeChellis to build our new home has been absolutely amazing from start to finish! The entire team has been incredibly friendly, attentive, and truly committed to making our vision come to life. Every step of the process has been smooth, organised, and easy to follow, which made selections for building our home such an enjoyable journey. We are beyond excited and counting down the days until we can finally unlock the door to our beautiful new DeChellis home.

We chose Dechellis Homes after seeing a number of their homes in display villages and consistently liking their designs more than others. After reading reviews and speaking with others who had built with them, all of whom were very positive, we felt comfortable moving forward. One thing we’ve really appreciated is their patience during the pre-contract phase. We made quite a few changes along the way, and at no point did we feel rushed or pressured to make decisions. During this stage, we dealt with Etienne, who guided us through the process and made sure we always had the time we needed, which made the experience far less stressful. A nice and unexpected touch came when our contract was ready for signing. The owner had personally reviewed our design and suggested a couple of refinements to improve it further. That really stood out to us and reflected their “our family building for your family” approach. The selections process has also been a positive experience. Each supplier appointment was unhurried, and we were given plenty of time to talk through options. We like being closely involved in the decisions, and that was well supported. The Dechellis internal selections team have also been prompt and very accommodating when we’ve made late changes. This review reflects our experience so far in the pre-construction phase. Based on how the process has been handled to date, we’re confident and hopeful the same approach will carry through the build. We’ve always approached this build as creating a long-term home rather than just a house, and so far our experience with Dechellis Homes has aligned with that.

We haven’t started building yet, but our experience with Dechellis Homes so far has been excellent. David has been amazing to work with — knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely listened to what we wanted. He took the time to answer all our questions and made the process smooth and easy. Everyone we’ve dealt with so far has been great. Highly recommend based on our experience so far.

First time we visited the Dechellis display homes at Riverlea we really liked Vogue and Manhattan models, beautiful houses with style and designed with ample rooms and living areas. We started conversations with Sales Consultant (Nick) and he gave us an outstanding service and supported us along the journey to have a contract signed. We attended the showrooms for selections and although it takes some time is good to have a fair number of options for items included or upgrades. In short, great design, a good number of options for selections, and outstanding customer service.

Over the past five years, we have built a few houses, and our experience with Dechellis Homes has been nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, the professionalism and organization of the entire team truly stood out, particularly Jeremy Blazejewski, whose attention to detail and dedication made the process seamless. One of the aspects we appreciated most was the support we received from the selection company. Their expert advice on everything from color palettes to design elements transformed what could have been daunting decisions into enjoyable experiences. They were patient and understanding, guiding us through each step with care and great coffee.
